I sit here waiting, clock in hand
Counting every second, every hour, every day I stand
I stand here sad and feeling alone
Waiting for the sound of your voice from the phone
I sit here wanting, wanting you
Hoping with my mind, my heart, that you want me, too
I lay here motionless, counting the days
I sit here wishing, wishing you were here
Knowing when I see you I look trapped in headlights, like a frozen deer
I pace here in my room, wanting your touch
It's been a while since my heart you cluched
I sit here looking, myself staring back
Feeling I'm going to have a heart attack
I think here mad, going insane
Please, kiss my lips, ease my pain
